13- Became President/GM of KOCE Public Television in LA Media Market (1997)

14- Used brand positioning strategies to raise awareness of KOCE brand and dramatically grow the viewing audience. (1998-2010)

17- Engineered the KOCE-TV Foundation’s purchase of the KOCE broadcast license from the Coast Community College District.

18- Began the first of two terms (six years) on the national PBS Board of Directors. (2001)

19- Relocated KOCE TV analogue Transmitter from La Habra Heights to Mt. Wilson and installed new digital HD Transmitter on Mt. Wilson, as well. This increased coverage by KOCE to 16 million viewers from Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Orange County, the Inland Empire, and the Coachella Valley.

20- Used brand positioning strategies that grew KOCE viewership relative to KCET, LA’s “primary” PBS station (1997-2011).

21- KOCE growth influenced KCET to drop PBS affiliation making KOCE the new primary PBS station in the LA media market on January 1, 2011.

22- Embraced new primary station role, reorganized staff, rebuilt technical operations facility, and rebranded KOCE to become PBS SoCal (2010-11).

23- Completed new studios and offices in Costa Mesa, CA and added properties in Century City and eventually Burbank (2011).

24- Became CEO of the new and rapidly growing PBS SoCal (2011-2016).

26- Became Adjunct Professor Teaching “Nonprofit Management” to MBA students at University of California at Irvine (2017-2020).

27- Began researching plots and locales for the novel “The Rogue Testament.” He traveled to exotic Mediterranean nations to find settings for his upcoming novel (2010- 2022).

28- Authored the fiction novel “The Rogue Testament” (2023-24).
